Funding Solutions Deutschland (FSD) has onboarded former sintered components manufacturer Sinterwerke Herne GmbH from Sumitomo Electric Industries. The entity will be managed by FSD as Funding Solutions Sinterwerke Herne Pensions GmbH. The transaction is our ninth completed pensioner firm buy-out.
FSD has been selected as part of an extensive selection process, managed by corporate and works law experts of ARQIS, that also included presentations with works council representatives and beneficiaries.
The Pension Liability Transfer comprises a range of obligations including direct pension commitments as well as Pensionsfonds obligations. Our Funding Solutions Governance Platform is used as a sustainable run-off framework. It employs well-established safeguards like clearly capped compensation and Helaba Trust e.V. as external CTA trustee.
